About
Keira cricket club would like to acknowledge the Wodi Wodi people of the Dharawal nation, the traditional custodians of the land in which we meet, live and play. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Keira cricket club holds a rich history going back over 150 years. Through that time many people have contributed to our game as volunteers, players, and administrators. We thank them for their part in Keira's legacy.
The home of Keira cricket club is the picturesque Keira oval in Keiraville. Keira cricket club covers the catchment areas of West Wollongong, Keiraville, Gwynneville and Mount Keira.
At Keira cricket club we embrace diversity in gender, age, ethnicity, all abilities, religion and sexual orientation. We are committed to providing a safe environment for children across Keira cricket. We measure ourselves on our values, our behaviours and how we play cricket. We require all coaches and committee members to provide a working with children's check which is current, validated and checked.
Keira cricket club fields many teams in the Cricket Illawarra competition for both junior and senior competitions.
Juniors include Cricket Blasters with an introduction to cricket for young primary school children to under 10's to 17's.
We have a women's senior who play 20/20 format on Friday night. The men's senior competition has teams in first to fourth grade.
Our home grounds are at Keira Park, Keiraville, Wiseman Park, Gwynneville and Roy Johanson (for juniors) in West Wollongong.

It has a chat function to allow all communications with coaches, players and the club's child safety officers.
